The Heart Behind
Good Day

Good Day Venue was created from a simple belief: every day is a gift, every gathering matters, and the best memories are made when people come together.

Our Story

It All Started with Five Simple Words

In 2012, my sister, Sara, was diagnosed with brain cancer. Over the next four years, she faced surgeries, treatments, and countless challenges with remarkable faith, gratitude, and hope. No matter what she was facing, she had a simple way of reminding herself—and everyone around her—that "Today is a good day."

Those words became much more than a phrase. They became the way our family chose to live: appreciating each day, celebrating life's moments, and finding joy even in difficult seasons.

When the opportunity came to create this venue, there was never any question what it should be called. Good Day Venue is named in Sara's honor and inspired by the perspective she shared so freely with everyone she met.

Today, we hope this space becomes a place where families celebrate milestones, friends reconnect, neighbors gather, businesses grow, and our community comes together. Every event held here is a reminder to slow down, enjoy the people around us, and cherish the moments that make life special.

Because no matter the occasion, we believe there's always something worth celebrating—and today is a good day.

Our Mission

More Than a Venue

Good Day Venue was created to be more than a place to rent for a few hours. We hope it's a place where birthdays are celebrated, babies are welcomed, graduates are honored, businesses grow, friendships deepen, and our community comes together.

Whether you're celebrating a milestone or simply gathering with the people who matter most, we hope every visit reminds you to slow down, appreciate the moment, and remember what Sara taught us:

Today is a good day.

Make it a Good Day
